The Wildlife Painting Experience" 10-4pm
The Wildlife Painting Experience
Sunday 19th of April 10-4pm
A full day, small group acrylic workshop
This is something a little different from our usual classes…
A full day in the studio, slowing everything right down…
and stepping into something more detailed, more considered, and more immersive.
Together, we’ll paint this beautiful tiger in acrylic…
focusing on building depth, texture and confidence as we go.
This isn’t a beginners painting…
a little brush control and some painting experience will help you enjoy it fully.
But please don’t let that worry you.
Even if you’ve mainly painted in watercolour with me…
and have very little experience in acrylic…
you are absolutely welcome.
I will guide you through every step…
supporting you in creating what will likely be your most advanced piece to date.
Because this is a small group, I’ll have the time to sit with you…
helping you through each stage, at your pace.
You won’t be left to figure it out alone.
This workshop has grown from work I’ve been exploring myself…
taking things a little further, looking more closely, and allowing the process to unfold slowly.
It’s a gentle step forward… in a calm, supportive space.
You’ll leave with more than just a painting…
Your piece will be finished in a warm amber timber frame…
bringing everything together into something you’ll be proud to have in your home.
You’ll also be among the first to own a handcrafted Burning Beard frame…
created using a unique fire-burning technique.
Throughout the day, you’ll be looked after with fresh sandwiches at lunch…
along with a few special treats to keep us going as we paint.
If you have any dietary requirements, please just leave a note at checkout and I’ll take care of everything.
