Public Acrylic Workshops

Wow – thank you so much!
The Seascape Day Workshop sold out in just 6 minutes – I honestly didn’t expect that level of demand. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who booked a spot and showed such amazing support.

For those who missed out this time, I’m truly sorry. I know how frustrating that can be. I would love to do more Floral Seascape day workshops in the future, so stay tuned

Thank you again – I can’t wait to create something special with you all

Workshop Overview: Floral Seascape Acrylic Day Workshop

Sunday the 29th of June

11.30-4pm

Join us for an immersive and inspiring day workshop where you’ll create a large, panoramic acrylic painting (1 metre x 30 cm) blending the beauty of sea, sand, and floral detail. This workshop is designed to guide you through the process gently.

We’ll begin the morning with a relaxed introduction and demonstration, focusing on building the sky — using soft blends, tonal shifts, and brush techniques to create a sense of atmosphere and movement. You’ll then have time to begin your own sky section, experimenting with colour and composition.

Once the sky is underway, we’ll pause for a short tea break — a chance to refresh, connect with others, and reflect on your progress.

After the break, we’ll turn our attention to the water and sand. We’ll look at a small selection of reference photos and discuss how to approach layering, light, and texture. With guidance and support, you’ll begin painting the sea and beach areas of your canvas, learning how to create depth and fluidity with acrylics.

Around mid-afternoon, we’ll take a longer pause to enjoy our traditional vintage afternoon tea — a beautifully presented spread of sausage rolls, delicate finger sandwiches, homemade cake, scones with jam and clotted cream, and unlimited tea or coffee, all served on charming vintage china.

To conclude the day, we’ll shift our focus to floral detailing. You’ll learn how to add expressive floral elements using acrylic-dipped in dried flowers and evergreens. We’ll discuss how to form simple, relaxed daisies and wildflower shapes using just a brush, keeping the style loose, expressive, and gently abstract for a unique, textured finish that gives your seascape a final touch of natural beauty and individuality.

You’ll leave with a finished large-format canvas, a full heart, and a head full of ideas — as well as new skills, inspiration, and the memory of a truly creative day.

Let this final workshop be a gentle celebration of the season .... a creative farewell before summer.

Spaces are limited, and this workshop may fill quickly — if it sounds like the perfect way to ease into summer, I’d recommend booking soon to avoid missing out. I’d love to spend this special day with you.

If you have any food intolerances or allergies, please leave a note at checkout so we can make sure you're well looked after.
