or
Sunday the 12th of October - 9.45-1pm
Takes place at the Kerr Soverall Art Studio
In this relaxed, small-group session, you’ll be guided through each step of the process — from choosing your yarn and learning the stitches, to assembling and decorating your finished pumpkin. Whether you’re brand new to crochet or have a few projects under your belt, this workshop is tailored to suit all abilities.
We begin by letting you “pick your wool” from a curated collection of chunky yarns in beautiful fall tones. Beginners will be supported with hands-on instruction using simple stitches, while more confident crafters can explore texture or larger sizes.
🧶 What You’ll Learn:
• Basic crochet stitches (single crochet, half double crochet, or textured options)
• Shaping and assembling your pumpkin
• Stuffing and finishing techniques
• Adding stems, twine, and decorations for a custom touch
You will have the option to add cinnamin sticks to your pumpkin using a glue-gun or if you feel like adding something more intricate you will be given guidance on how to a crochet stem.
🍂 What’s Included:
• All materials: chunky yarn, hook, needle, stuffing, stem options
• Printed take-home pattern
• Tea/coffee and a sweet treat
• Friendly guidance in a supportive, small-class environment
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a completed pumpkin (or two!) and the confidence to keep crocheting at home. It’s the perfect autumn craft afternoon — come alone or with a friend!
This Workshop will be held by Rebecca Kerr Soverall and supported by a mini Kerr Soverall experienced in crochet and keen to support others learning the skill of crochet. Our Mini Kerr Soverall will assist in supporting the learning in the class for the first hour, offering individual guidance alongside Rebecca
