Beginners Block Monday Afternoon 1-2.45pm
Beginner’s 4-Week Watercolour Art Journey
Monday Afternoons | 1:00 – 2:45 PM
There is something quietly special about joining a room where creativity is already flowing.
This Monday afternoon beginners’ journey takes place alongside a group of long-standing, continuing watercolour artists — painters who know the gentle rhythm of the class and warmly welcome new faces. While they paint, you’ll be guided step by step through the fundamentals, learning in a calm, supportive space where there is no rush and no pressure to “get it right”.
You don’t need confidence to begin — that grows naturally, week by week.
As you paint, you’ll absorb the atmosphere of the studio: brushes moving softly, colours blooming on paper, quiet conversations and shared moments of creativity. Many beginners find this reassuring and inspiring, especially if they’re considering continuing their watercolour journey beyond these four weeks.
I teach the beginners block within the session, focusing on the basics at your own pace, while you gently become part of the wider class experience.
This is a lovely option if you enjoy learning by observing, feeling part of something established, and easing into creativity rather than jumping straight in.
